Hear from our interns

"I'm so excited to be joining the New Jersey Angels this summer! The work done here by our team and the amazing volunteers is truly inspiring, and I feel so blessed to get to be a part of it. I've seen the impact of the foster system on kids, and once I saw the New Jersey Angels online I knew I had to reach out to become a part of it. The kind of work I'm seeing during this internship is making true change, and I can only hope it's a glimpse into my future!" - Abigail Herb

When I was searching for an internship, I was hoping for something that not only would help me gain great experience but that would also be rewarding in working towards a good cause, and working with NJA has been just that. I discovered NJA at a Rutgers career fair, and was immediately moved by how passionate they are towards their work and helping others. By working with NJA I have been able to expand in my creativity and problem solving skills, all the while being incredibly honored to work towards a noble cause among an incredibly knowledgeable and kind team.

Volunteering at New Jersey Angels has been such a rewarding experience! Ever since learning about the foster care system and the issues that disproportionately affect children in the system, I knew I wanted to do my part to help. This organization provided the perfect opportunity for me to get involved and even gave me a role right in my wheelhouse. I’m so glad to be working with such inspiring people at an organization that is so committed to creating a positive impact.
