Nancy Musco
Registered nurse, wife, mother, dancer, believer in possibilities
Likes: any form of dance but especially Argentine Tango, purple, the ocean, my flower garden, summer, dressing up.
Dislikes: Reading instructions, coconut and cauliflower, sushi, January, “not my job” mentality.
Nancy Musco has been drawn to the foster care arena since her first job as a teenager working at a county children’s home. There she learned the value of human touch and consistent relationships in a child’s life.
A registered nurse with a varied career in the clinical, corporate, educational and non-profit arenas, Nancy has continued to see the impact of family relationships on health. Throughout her career, she has continued to educate parents on safety, care and the value of being present in their child’s development.
Nancy now serves as the community engagement manager for Dress for Success Central New Jersey. In addition, she has written and facilitates a job development program that includes training and assigning mentors to the program participants. Nancy has been appointed to serve on the Middlesex County Child Protection Board. She also volunteers with the Middlesex County Medical Reserve Corps.
Nancy finds much joy being with her husband, grown daughter and son following the family mantra “it’s so nice to be together”.
Nancy is excited to lend her experience communicating and collaborating with diverse audiences, client advocating, and partnership building to the success of New Jersey Angels.
