Giselle Ferreira
Proud daughter of hardworking immigrants, trilingual, extrovert, night owl
Likes: Cats, relaxing mornings with a hot cup of coffee, working out, cooking, having heartwarming conversations, serving others, and blankets.
Dislikes: Humidity, ketchup, shopping, roller coasters, and not having a project to work on.
Giselle is a former Girl Scout who received the Gold Award (the highest achievement that can be earned in Girl Scouts). After 11 years in Girl Scouts as a child and teenager, Giselle has continued to seek out opportunities with nonprofits to leave a positive impact on others' lives.
After a short time of living the nomadic lifestyle, Giselle realized the importance of home. She believes it's not just a physical location but also a feeling—safety, a sanctuary, and joy. Giselle hopes to bring this same feeling to others through the Love Box program.
Before graduating at 27 years old from Temple University with a degree in Public Relations, Giselle spent years working full time in different industries and attended trade school and community college. She believes in the Dare to Dream program because she was once a teenager who needed guidance and direction to plan her financial and personal future.
Giselle will be harnessing her past experiences for New Jersey Angels by leveraging social media's power and her passion for marketing as a way to help bring her community together.
